Our Story
Life Expressions was established in 1992 by founder Frankie Edwards. Lee was born in San Francisco, Ca., and studied business at the City College of San Francisco, with over 20 years of experience in the field. Our company was inspired by a friend to provide a platform for her brother, Lumumba, and other artists to showcase their work.
Seven years later in 1999, Frankie was introduced to the Framing Retail Business by a friend Alan Ellis of "Ellis Custom Framing" which sparked her interest in adding custom framing to Lumumba artwork; she later started working with customers who needed custom framing services later change the name to "Framed By Frankie," for framed artwork and services.
Now, we are Life Expressions Art, a junction of everything, the Black Hallmark!
